COMPETITION
In celebration with the book launch of ‘. from a dot’, a book about master artist Sun Yu-li, on 4 April 2014 at The Arts House. We are inviting all participants, from novice to specialised, to participate in a competition in response to the prose below, written by Sun Yu-li, through a visual or performing art form. Each entry will receive the ‘.from a dot’ book (retailed at $38) and will stand to win cash prizes up to $500.

COMPETITION DETAILS
Visual Arts
Please create an artwork in response to the prose. Your artwork may be a painting, drawing, collage, sculpture or even a digital artwork in any medium you are comfortable with. Please email your artwork to artbeatz@iqkidz.com.sg with your registration form. We will contact you to bring in your artwork in due time. Selected artworks will be displayed in an exhibition at The Living Room, The Arts House. Top three prizes will be announced on 4 April, 2014 at The Arts House.
Performing Arts
Please create your performing item in response to the prose. Your item can be in the form of a song, a story, dance, music or any other genre. Submit a video of your performance, not longer than 3 minutes, to artbeatz@iqkidz.com.sg with your registration form. We will contact you to come in for audition, if required. Selected items will be invited to perform at The Arts House on the 4 of April 2014 at The Chamber from 4 to 5 pm. Top three prizes will be given out after the performances.
You may participate as an individual participant or as a group in the following categories:
-Tertiary or Secondary school (Individual or groups)
-Primary school (Individual or groups)
-Preschool (Individual only)

REGISTRATION
Please mail your registration form with a description of your art to us by the 24 February 2014. You will receive a confirmation of your registration upon receipt of your registration fee.
A registration / administration fee of $30 by cheque to ArtBeatz Pte Ltd should be enclosed with your registration form and mailed to #05-08 The Calrose 511 Yio Chu Kang Road Singapore 787066.
Each entry will receive a complimentary copy of “. from a dot’ (RRP $38).
