A competition was held in celebration of the book launch of ‘from a dot’, a book about master artist, Sun Yu-li, on 4 April 2014 at The Arts House. The participants have to create an artwork or a performing item in response to the prose.

In celebration with the book launch of ‘. from a dot’, a book about master artist Sun Yu-li, on 4 April 2014 at The Arts House. We are inviting all participants, from novice to specialised, to participate in a competition in response to the prose below, written by Sun Yu-li, through a visual or performing art form.

LOVE . REVOLVE THE WORLD:
A community project in conjunction with Art Garden 2013 at SAM@8Q, LOVE . REVOLVE THE WORLD is a collaboration between Singaporean artist Sun Yu-Li and 750 children from ages 3 to 12 years old.
HERITAGE PROGRAM FOR PRESCHOOL @ JALAN BESAR:
An art and heritage integrated program for preschools that exposes children to various cultures and traditions and engages them to produce visually stunning art pieces. These series of workshops are specially designed for preschoolers to be immersed in the richness of different cultures, and experience the joy of art-making with projects such as Batik Painting, creating Indian Oil Lamps, and art with other cultures.
SINGAPORE BIENNALE 2013 – IF THE WORLD CHANGED:
The Singapore Biennale exhibition at the Singapore Art Museum, titled If The World Changed, features Southeast Asian artists reflecting, mediating, envisioning, and making propositions in respond to the worlds we live in, and the worlds we want to live in.
